This NVQ is for anyone wishing to demonstrate occupational competence in Plant Operations that wishes to gain CPCS/NPORS Blue Competent Operators card.

Process for a NVQ Qualifications

Included in the cost:

On arrival to site the NVQ assessor will require a quiet area of site (office, canteen) to conduct an induction on to the NQV this will include assessment plan, GDPR compliance, Assessment and appeals procedure, skill scan and a knowledge Q&A /Professional discussion this process takes around 2 hours. You will be assessed in the workplace through a number of assessment methods such as; observations, professional discussion (Knowledge Q&A – around 15 questions per unit), witness testimonies and employer references, written questions and collection of work generated evidence this can include documentary evidence e.g. Rams, lift plans, attendance records, plant/lifting equipment maintenance records, timesheets, traffic management plans, tool box talks, team briefings, videos and pictures full evidence list can be found in the website Usual duration; Level 2 is 4-5 weeks Successful candidates will achieve a full NVQ Certificate which will allow the candidate to gain a CPCS/NPORS competent operators ticket

Candidates must have passed an HSE touchscreen test within the past 2 years

Registration with the Awarding Body Administration of the whole process by an experienced and dedicated admin team Access to a qualified NVQ assessor (all have many years of industry experience) – Full induction on to the qualification – Ongoing advice, guidance and support from your Assessor – Assessment of submitted evidence by the Assessor – Portfolio Building – Internal verification of the assessment decision leading to certification – Safe storage of Assessment decision documentation copies of certification for the minimum required period Registration requirements; – You must be currently working onsite – Good level of spoken and written English – Valid passport or driving licence
